Getting in the car and driving to the Dentist. An abscess isn’t something you want to fool with….but in the meantime take some Ibuprofen (up to 800 mg.) two to three times per day and get a frozen bag of corn and wrap in a towel and place on your cheek area near the tooth for a few minutes then off for a few minutes and so on and so on…
Again, the best thing is to call a dentist, get an appointment and get some antibiotics and get the tooth taken care of.

Temporary relief can be obtained by using an over the counter product called “OraJel”….The key word here is “Temporary”..an abscess slowly erodes away gum jaw bone and can eventually leak infection directly into the blood stream and that my friend is dangerous….IF there is a Dental College near you contact it’s “Out Patient Clinic”..The clinic provides dental services to the public fro fees ranging from FREE to LOW..Good luck and I wish you well.
