My husband is in the process of getting his teeth fixed. He has to get 3 root canals–but the first one isn’t taking place for 3 more weeks. He has pain pills but sometimes they don’t work. He doesn’t like to take them either because they knock him out and they make him sleep all day. It is affecting his job because he has had to call in several times. Orajel and Ambesol don’t do much for it either. Please Help!

Fight the inflammation with bromelain. (Natural supplement from pineapple or papaya). It’s amazing and works fast (less than an hour) because it works at the cellular level. It digests the fibrin that forms and prevents proper blood flow to area, hence the pain.
Best taken with synergestic supplements for better absorption like quercetin and vit. C or NAC.
I take 3 of either per day, but during the bad pain I took like 4-6.

Don’t buy papaya pills, this is crazy talk. He needs to see the dentist immediately for an emergency dressing. Sometimes this happens if the tooth is very badly infected. An antibiotic dressing is placed internally, and should settle the tooth down by the next day. Systemic antibiotics (taken orally) should be taken as a last resort. They only mask the infection. If the emergency dressing is not placed, your husband may have problems when it comes to the appointment time for the root canal therapy.

Clove oil, those little black thinks that look like 3 corner jacks but the oil, put some on a cotton bud and imiediate relief. My mother taught me this trick, it taste awfull but numbs imidiatly!
