What Is The Best Medication To Take For A Toothache?

I have been using Anbesol, Lidocaine, and no help at all. Anybody have any home remedies or something to help this horrible pain that I am in.
Thank you so much.

You really need to see a dentist as soon as possible because this pain will only get worse. As far as OTC medication take an anti-inflammatory like motrin with Tylenol. You may need an antibiotic if the pain is caused by infection.

I have been going through the same thing and here are a few options. A cup of warm water with a lot (very lot) of salt gargled will help at first (a lot of toothpaste in warm water as well. Also ibuprofen works better then Tylenol and others because it reduces inflammation. If you can get a hold of some antibiotics as well you should be OK.

crush up an aspirin and rub it right where it hurts this works for a little while but you need to get to the dentist because it sounds like it is infected
