I don’t have any insurance or money to see a dentist, so does anyone know how I can get it to stop hurting, even if it is temporary. I have a cavity, in one of my molars and I’m guessing it has reached the nerve, and it is makin my jaw hurt bad. All the answers will be VERY appreciated.

Take Advil or Motrin 800mg adult dose every 6 hours and see your dentist in the morning for an emergency appointment. You can’t be sure what condition the tooth is in, if the decay has reached the nerve or not. It may require a simple filling which is relatively inexpensive. But I can guarantee, that if the tooth just needs a filling right now and you wait on going to get it taken care of, you will need a root canal and crown sometime in the near future, or loose the tooth. Choice is yours, I don’t think it’s worth the pain or the added expense by waiting on seeing your dentist. Hope I’ve been of some help and good luck!
Additional information: I’m afraid that if these problems have existed for over 3 years that you may not be able to restore these teeth. You are going to have to see a dentist and make some type of payment arrangement. If these teeth have abscessed, that is an active infection that is running it’s coarse throughout your body. It can cause more problems than the toothache that you are experiencing now. Wish I could be of more help, but my advice is, see a dentist now. Good luck!
Talk with friends or relatives, their dentist may see you for an emergency treatment.

The only way to get rid of a toothache is a root canal. The cavity has already eaten down to the nerve and that is why it is hurting. If you cannot afford a dentist, look for a clinic that does charity work. You WILL have to see a dentist sooner or later. Oil of cloves may help a little but a dentist is your only permanent hope. Good luck. Pops

My mom use to get clove drops and dab a bit on cotton wool and stick it in the tooth that hurts. You can also use whole cloves. Just soak it a bit in water to soften it and get a piece small enough to wedge into the cavity…Once it wears off , put another little bit in there…Hope you feel better

Sacrificy your internet conection for one month to afford dentist visit. Besides if you can afford WWW connection you can afford a visit to the dentist, so don’t be cheap and invest in your own health for a change!
