I am taking penicillin for 2 days and my right side of my face is swelled up, I have used ice packs and makes the swelling more, It is swelled up to my eye. What do I do to make the swelling go away?

What’s the strongest over-the-counter pain medication out there that can be used to relief toothache without having to smear a gel like Oralgel or similar around the affected area? Are there any pills which work well for the relief of toothache?
