i had my tooth pulled monday..and my face is still a little swollen. how long does it usualy take before the swelling goes away ?

im getting a root canal and veneers on the same tooth, but i was wondering if i get my root canal on a thursday, when do you think my mouth would be ready for the veneers.

I got a root canal a couple months ago and everything was fine. It didn’t hurt at all and they told me to take good care of my teeth because that tooth is more brittle or something. Well, I brush my teeth twice a day and floss once a day. But suddenly, as of yesterday, my tooth started hurting every time I bite down on it. If I don’t, there’s just this dull ache. Any idea what happened?

Well on the right upper side of my mouth above the tooth and gum I have a bump that’s about the size of a skittle. It does not hurt and neither does the tooth. When I touch it it has an odd sensation but nothing close to pain. I looked it up and I only find abscessed teeth. Could this be something else or can an abscessed tooth not hurt? I noticed this almost a week ago. I plan on calling my dentist this week but I really hate going!
