My root canal cost 718 dollars. I had that done a few weeks ago. I still have to get a post and crown though which will cost me like 1300 dollars!! Can I wait awhile before taking that step or should I do it soon. The dentist said it could wait til I had the money…but he didn’t specify how long I could wait.

So i have a root canal tomorrow (23rd) but the thing is my insurance ends on the 31st of this month. Any way that i can still get the crown in time?

I’m just curious what are differences and why would you get a crown over a root canal or a root canal over a crown? Which is better? Thank-you!

I’m getting my wisdom teeth out on Friday, but I have had a cavity in my upper left one for a while. I heard that if you have a cavity for a long time you might need a root canal. But If I’m getting the whole tooth out is that the same thing? Will I need a root canal on top of the wisdom tooth extraction? Will they do it at the same time?

And is a filling part 2 of a root canal by defualt or are these completely unrelated things?
Does the dentist put something in your tooth, to fill it just during a root canal? Or how does this work?
