I know the exact feeling you mean. I went back to my endodontist who told me that sensitivity can sometimes continue for a long time afterwards, but it will eventually settle. The longest she had ever heard was 18 months but had never heard of a case where it continued indefinitely. Mine took about three months but its fine now. I wouldn't worry about it.
