It’s not clover stem but cloves, the spice. The oil in cloves has an analgesic effect. You may not have clove oil so using ground up fresh cloves would probably work. If you heat the cloves for a minute or two in a dry medium hot frying pan before you grind them you will free up much more oil. Take the ground cloves and apply directly to the tooth, like a poultice. It may be easier to do if you mix the ground up powdered spice with a tiny amount of olive oil first. Change the poultice for a fresh one every 15-20 minutes and do not go to sleep with it in place. . Also, If you first rinse your mouth with warm salt water or baking soda and water it will act as an astringent and reduce the inflammation a bit. Rinse often between applications. If you have ibuprofen and aspirin to take a few tablets orally that would probably help also. Follow the directions on the bottle for those. Get professional attention as soon as possible.

oil of clove does wonders and is available without a prescription. If it still hurts alot then add a heavy pain pill on top of that…I’ve been there..ouch..I feel for you…good luck!

Make a paste with a few drops of water and a spoonful of cayenne pepper. Dip a cotton swab into the paste and dab on your tooth (NOT THE GUM!). Capsaicin, an ingredient in cayenne, interferes with pain transmission.

try some pain killer, strong pain killer.
At times like these it’s not a bad idea to pop in some vicodin, if available. If not aspirin or tylenol or advil….

ring either your dentist or another one because many do emergencies at night or on weekends. it doesnt matter who you go to, as long as ytou trust them and they are pretty good or whatever, your dentist probably wont mind that you hav gone elsewhere
they mite just give you strong painkillers or they might to a tempory filling.
