Which tooth?
I ask, because removing certain teeth can be a very bad idea to do on your own. For example, a maxillary molar could have an apex that reaches the maxillary sinus.

If you pulled a tooth that had this you could have some serious problems arise.
Another example; If the tooth is on the mandible (lower jaw) the root apices could be wrapped around the inferior alveolar nerve. Damage to the nerve would cause irreversible loss of feeling to your lower lip, chin, and lower front teeth and gums.
There are many more examples, so you might want to call a professional, or at least read a book or two on oral surgery. I suggest you start with “Contemporary Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery” by Dr. James Hupp. http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Contemp…

Please go to a dentist. People have died from infections that started in their mouth and did not get treated. Seek out a community center if you lack the resources for a private dentist. You can also go to an er. room. Do not try to do this at home.

An abscessed tooth can cause an infection and make that side of your face swell. You would be better off going to the dentist to have it pulled and get some antibiotics. I don’t think its safe to try and do it yourself. My 5 yr old son just had 2 pulled.

Do NOT gargle with peroxide, that is bleach and you would need to diliute it heavily. I worked in head and neck surgery and you need to go see you dentist or hospital as there may be a risk of your airway being compromised
