Last Feb. I took her in for a check up. On the paper, the vet had check a box that said Tartar/or Inflamation on the teeth section. The vet did not say anything and I didn’t notice it til I got home.
She doesn’t chew her canned chunks of meat because she threw up twice and the meat chunks were whole.
She doesn’t act sick and she eats dry food and seems to chew that ok.

The fact that she is not chewing should be looked at – if she will chew on dry food, that means she is OK, but if not, I would go to another vet and have him check it out. And ask him to clean her teeth for you, they normally have to give anaesthetic for this if I am not mistaken.

If she slobbers and has bad breath, she has a dental problem. As far as the canned food goes, she may just be eating it too fast.

If she has a tartar build up you should take her to have her teeth cleaned. It can cause other problems.
