i went to the dentist toi have the tooth removed but they referred me to an oral surgeon for monday. they stardted me on antibioitcs but since having started the antibiotics the swelling has gotten pretty bad and is starting into my neck. its been 2 days now and it seems to be getting worse rather than better. is this something i should seek medical attention for or should i ride it out and wait till monday when i see the oral surgeon?

Go to the ER immediately. You may need to be on intravenous antibiotics to get this under control. Please do not delay. Infection can be deadly,.
