Press firmly on the fleshy bit between your thumb and index finger. Hold it tightly for several minutes, and then release when you feel the tooth pain subside. Repeat when it starts hurting again. There's a nerve centre there that's routed toward the same nerve message centre involving tooth pain. Doing this will dull the pain so you can at least cope with it until your dentist can solve the problem. Here’s an acupressure trick.
