I’m going to see him tomorrow and was wondering if he could fix my tooth. I have braces only on the top teeth and I lost a filling on one of my lower molar. Can he help me?

Your orthodontist is more concerned with “moving” your teeth into the correct alignment. He may place a temp filling in it but will most assuredly refer you to your regular dentist for the replacement restoration. Don’t put a trip to the dentist off for too long. Good luck!

No. Orthodontists ONLY specialize in straightening your teeth, not repairing broken teeth. You’ll need to see your regular dentist for that kind of dental work.

I think that your dentist might be more help on that. But you can definitly ask your ortho. about it.
