I thought I had an ear infection, but my doctor cleared it, and didn’t understand why I am in pain. The only thing I can think of is that I have a broken tooth on that side. The tooth itself doesn’t hurt much, but my ear, jaw, and temple are in severe pain. Is it related, or did my doctor misdiagnose me?

You bet it can! So can wisdom teeth! I suggest you go see your dentist.

Yes, its because of your tooth, connected to jaw, connected to face, connected to ear.

oh yes it can. I’m currently in the same condition. I have been using warm salt water to rinse out my mouth and Listerine to help fight the infection until I can get to the dentist. I also take Advil as needed(directed) and use Orajel (the ones in the q tip) medication. that has been helping me….I hope you feel better soon.

Yes, it can. There can be “referred” pain traveling along the nerve that supplies that ear.
