i just had my root canal and i was wondering if i should wait awhile to get the crown? the dentist said asap, but i dont know how asap he wants.

Nope, I’ve had 2 root canals done where I had them recommend I put temporary crowns on immediately.

It means as soon as possible. It depends on how much tooth structure was left after treatment. It is always good to reinforce the tooth and them do the crown.
