		<description>sometimes it just takes a really strong antibiotic to clear it up.  I once had an abscessed tooth and it wouldnt clear up and it ended up that it was a sinus infection on top of it.</description>

While I would have prescribed Clindamycin if the Amoxicillin wasn&#039;t getting the job done, the Cephalexin ought to work fine.
Everyone reacts differently to medication, and different bacteria respond differently to different antibiotics.  It is good that your dentist is trying to resolve the infection with a different antibiotic before attempting the extraction.</description>
